AFL are in the pocket of the bookies

It's clear the only people the AFL think they are answerable to is the corporate bookies who line their pockets

Dear Editor

The AFL has shown its true colours this week after signing another 5 year deal reportedly worth $50 million, to allow gambling behemoth BetEasy to continue pushing gambling ads down the throats of fans, families and kids.

This comes just days after AFL players boldly took a stand against gambling advertising.

It's clear the only people the AFL think they are answerable to is the corporate bookies who line their pockets. Not the players. Not the fans. And certainly not the kids who will grow up believing this is a normal part of the game.
