The avalanche of advertisements telling all to ‘gamble responsibly’ it just a joke –
I have stopped watching football.
No one can deny how insidious gambling has been to many sport players, or to many of those who support the players and their Clubs.
The avalanche of advertisements telling all to ‘gamble responsibly’ it just a joke – statistically, sadly, we know addictive it really can be.
I, for one, am speaking of personal experience, having never gambled in my life, except the occasional raffle and lotto ticket.
Gambling addiction is by stealth – marketed as ‘fun’.
The industry has been shamed not only by families who have lost all, but by the disgraceful corruption evidenced from time to time.
I allege some sections of the Corporate sector of ‘sport’, are just as guilty for ‘selling out their supporters who clearly want otherwise’.
Sports Club rely on family support, but it seems of no import to those charged with responsibility, to ignore cries of endangering the families by brainwashing children at a very young age, to know more about the ‘odds’ than the rules.
