Gambling Reform NSW

Reduce gambling harm

Reduce gambling hours

The Alliance for Gambling Reform, The Uniting Church and Wesley Mission have come together to build a campaign in NSW to shut down poker machines from midnight to 10am.

We welcome all individuals and organisations to join us because gambling harms us all.

There are many avenues to reform the gambling industry in NSW, so that harm is reduced or better yet, prevented.
This campaign focuses on reducing the operating hours of poker machines, without exceptions.
We may call on supporters to take action on other reform initiatives as they occur.

Pokies are designed to addict.

Every day $18.7million is lost through poker machines in New South Wales. Every day of the year.

Gambling contributes to anxiety, financial stress, work and study problems. It can lead to poverty, mental health issues, and family violence.

We can work together to reduce these harms,
to individuals and communities.
Here's how you can take action

Step 1: sign up so we can keep in contact

Step 2: Take any or all of these actions
