What a tragedy - Alliance for Gambling Reform

What a tragedy

What a tragedy

That the AFL can put profits before children's welfare is deplorable.

Dear Editor,

How disappointing that in the face of AFL players themselves declaring their opposition to sports gambling, the AFL have forged ahead with a further deal with BetEasy to the tune of $50 million over five years.
Young children who have just begun to watch sport broadcasts will never have seen such broadcasts free of gambling ads and will think it is a normal part of sport.
What a tragedy - gambling is wreaking havoc in many families.
That the AFL can put profits before children's welfare is deplorable.

Yours truly,
(Mrs.) Nan McGillivray
